This privacy policy governs your use of the software application ECO: Easy Communicator (“Application”) for mobile devices that was created by Cátedra de Accesibilidad (UPC). The Application is an implementation of an Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) system for mobile devices. Its aim is to provide a tool for improving the possibilities of communication and understanding, both in personal and academic environment, of people with language, learning or interaction difficulties. The groups to which it is addressed are: from children with disorders of autistic spectrum, to teenagers with cerebral palsy, or seniors with cognitive problems. ECO: Easy Communicator combines several communication elements: photos, pictograms, videos, texts and voices. Thus, messages are offered with complementary alternative formats. For example, the concept "school" can be either a customized photography of the user’s school, the generic pictogram, the video of the word school in sign language, the word read and the text, etc. There are several collections of pictograms, voices and videos available. Some of them are for free, such as ARASAAC, whilst other are commercial or proprietary. ECO: Easy Communicator allows both, incorporating these sources and structuring them internally, or using a small set of own development. ECO: Easy Communicator provides facilities to: 1) organize the messages according to users and categories; 2) create, edit and sort users and categories - Import and export users and categories; 3) associate image, video and audio files with messages; 4) customize the interface, by modifying font sizes, colors, response times, sorting patterns, response patterns, etc. ECO: Easy Communicator comes with several users already installed, which are aimed to illustrate the performance of the application in terms of; 5) show emotions and responses to help users to hold conversations; 6) schedule and remind daily actions in a personal agenda and 7) learn simple concepts through lessons (colors, numbers, flowers, etc.)

This Application does not collect any kind of information. Any kind of information taken by the information (e.g. Pictures, sounds, etc.) are for local use only. Therefore, the application will not provide to external parties any kind of user personal data.
You can stop using the Application easily by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.
